IE9 adopts a new JavaScript engine to develop processing video
In today’s Professional Developers Conference (PDC09) Microsoft demonstrated the early development content of IE9 , although it was developed for three weeks, Microsoft is confident that, IE9 achieved a smoother rendering and more powerful performance, wondering if this self-confidence comes where.
Microsoft said, IE9 can take advantage of GPU accelerated rendering for the page to provide more powerful driving force, developers can make better use of CSS, DHTML, and JavaScript. IE9 in interoperability and support of standards have also been further refined, such as the built-in support for CSS rounded corners.
IE9 will abandon the use of the existing JavaScript engine of IE and use a brand new, but Microsoft did not specify what is the engine of choice. With regard to IE9 release schedule Microsoft has not stated publicly, because IE9 is still in the initial stage, as forwhen the public beta release ,it still has too many unknown factors.
